Boring

Lena has learned how to use the word boring to great effect:

  • First, she does something she shouldn’t do.
  • Then, she waits for me to respond to her.
  • Finally, in the middle of my telling her what to do, she says “Boring.”

For example, she comes out of her room for the 4th time last night.  I call out to her,

“Lena, please go . . . “

. . . and she interrupts . . .

Boring!

And Laura laughs.
