We went with the kids to Tahoe for New Year 2009.  Cole continued to charge down the slopes, doing some intermediate runs for the first time.  For the first time, Lena went beyond her ski-lesson and did some skiing too.

Not only did we all get on a chair together for the first time, but we also all went on a run together.  We didn’t expect that would happen on this trip, but it was great fun.

It got a bit cold on the last day.  With Laura and Lena going back to the house, I grabbed Lena’s neck warmer.  That turned out to be a popular topic for young girls skiing that day . . . “hey, I like your scarf!”
