Lena has several short-sleeve and sleeveless dresses.  On cold days, we ask her to wear long-sleeved shirts under them.  She likes the dresses, but not with the shirts, so she doesn’t wear them on cold days.  I never understood why until the other day, when . . .

I reply,

Soon, on a warm afternoon. 

In her “I’m teaching you something” tone, she replies

Because, Dad, you know skin is actually very beautiful.

When people get married, the woman wears a sleeveless dress because skin is really beautiful.  Really, Dad, its true.
