I just found this post in the drafts. It is from August 2006 – Robert
Cole to an adult:
I want you to know I really like your hair. It is wicked.
The adult laughs and tells the people around her that Cole thinks her hair is wicked. We are both struck by the complement and I wonder where he learned the slang.
Walking away, I ask Cole where he learned the word “wicked”.
Oh, I have known that word for two or three years at least.
So, I ask hiim what wicked means. His eyes get really big and he says:
You know, kind of spooky scary.
Ahh, that kind of wicked.
