We spent a week in Lake Tahoe on the North Shore in July and it was gorgeous. The beaches were a bit crowded so we ended up doing more activities on the lake and some hikes. We all paddleboarded at Sand Harbor state park for which sadly there are no photos. Sand Harbor is a beach located in Nevada and the water there is a lovely turquoise with many interesting boulder formations along the shore. We also rented paddleboards down in Kings Beach and paddled around the lake for a couple of hours on our last day. One highlight was renting a motorboat and motoring around the lake for half the day. We motored all the way down to Emerald Bay and fit in some tubing which was probably more physically tiring than fun. While not on the lake, we spent several hours having fun with poker, puzzles, movies, a viewing of Jesus Christ Superstar and some relaxing time at night in the hot tub. It was an action packed week, and we sure were tired when we got home!
