Yesterday, Cole fell off the play structure at school and hurt his foot. After several hours at the hospital and a few x-rays that day, we decided to take him to see the orthopedist at Children’s Hospital. Good thing we did – he has a tiny fracture on his fibula, a leg bone as it turns out.  So, he’s got a cast for the next 4 weeks.  Cole pretty much took it in stride and didn’t get particularly upset. He was more upset by the idea that he might have had a flu shot yesterday (he didn’t).  So, here he is getting the cast put on.  He chose black for his cast color.
