This past week we hit temperatures in the 70s, which is completely weird for February in Oakland. It should be raining non-stop with gray all around. Instead, it’s green everywhere and the fruit trees are in full bloom, making me think about laying fresh mulch and buying a hammock.  The good weather has even pulled my generally room-bound daughter outside, where she has happily been pulling up weeds and digging up dirt. Ah, spring….
